If you read the post carefully most members that have posted at least once will be safe. Please read the topic carefully before just posting a miniature rant. I dont take too kindly to it.

It's amazing the things you realize when you lose someone: you get mad at yourself for not saying the things you could've said a million times, you take for granted the days spent doing nothing when you could have been with them. Anyone can leave, at any time in our lives, but we always wait until they're gone to say the things we never had the courage to before.

Ah good ol member weeding. Sort of depressing seeing the number of members drop but at least they're not taking up space lol

PSOquest was one of the largest forums i ever knew about. It was a site devoted to PSO, so it had all the data and then some about the game. Then the 5000 members, most with sigs, and avy's, then all the threads and posts.. it added up. Sadly it is not running anymore. The cost was to much, and the space was to little.. nothing could support what Feugan needed to run it, so it shut down.

Yeh, well not even 1000 of those were active posters (probably not even 100 while I was there), but they just accumlated to insane amounts, which is why Mick is cutting out those similiar accounts that haven't been used here.

not commenting on the quest reasons it shut down.

but pruning accounts that are no longer in use is a good idea and should be done at least twice a year. Its not the QUANTITY of members its the QUALITY... also at least once a year a thread prune is needed to help maintain the database size... most boards refuse to do this cause they are so infatuated with looking big.. but how many big boards have threads which make sense and fun people... its like attempting to talk in a football pitch crowded with others attempting to talk..

small simple.. informal.. fun.. thats all that is required..

And Odin... grow up...

Yeah... remove the pigeon chested little tossers account... Tirsk. Such disregard for one's privileges.
